The Amicale Citroën Internationale, its Board and Delegates are pleased to announce the selection of “CITROËN STORY 2010″ as the ACI Event of the Year 2010.
“CITROËN STORY 2010″ is an event organized by the Belgian Citroën clubs
based upon their very successful annual meeting “Citroën Jumble”.
It will be held last week end of May or first week end of June (date depends of the official F1 calendar in Belgium which will be known before the end of this year) on the Zolder racetrack near Brussels.
This location is ideal because it is only 30km from the Netherlands, 50km from Germany and 80km from France.
The event will be open to all Citroëns at the same low entry fee. Complete and updated information will be delivered in our next newsletters and at the AGM in January 2010.
You will recall from the ACI Annual General Meeting in February that there was no proposal for the Event of the Year 2010. In June 2009, a proposal for 2010 was submitted to the Board by a group of Belgian Citroën car clubs (or Amicale Belge). The proposal was given tentative approval based on the experience of the organizing committee and the likelihood of a successful event. The Board sent out the proposal to
all Delegates with an attachment outlining the reasons for the tentative approval of the Board. After three weeks seventeen votes had been sent in. All were in favor of the Belgian proposal. Based on that vote the “Citroën Story” is declared the ACI Event of the Year for 2010.
