He had suffered for some time, but was always positive about the future and it was always a pleasure to meet up with him. He was one of the early enthusiasts for A C I and gave me great support when I was president. If there were any points of disagreement he could be counted on to put forward a fair and pragmantic opion without any ill feeling to other members. He was a true gentleman and we will miss him.
