On Sunday, April 23, the 8th edition of Expo Auto Argentino was held, the classic show of national vehicles that brings together the different brands that have produced their cars in the country.
There was more than 260 vehicles representative of the national automotive history, contributed by 25 clubs and a significant batch of private exhibitors.
In one prominent place, the Papamóvil Chevrolet looked like the flagship vehicle. The only one, manufactured especially by SEVEL Argentina, was used in April 1987 for the official transfer of Juan Pablo II in his second visit to Argentina.
The Citroën Club Buenos Aires representing the brand, exhibited a variety of models produced in the country during the 1970s: Citroën Ami 8 1972, Citroën 3cv 1971, Citroën 3cv Prestige, in addition to an IES America 1986. It also showed exclusively the original tools and assets used by Citroën Argentina during the decades of the 60s and 70s, to manufacture the national vehicles.

El Citroën Club Bs As presente en una nueva edición de Expo Auto Argentino 2017
El domingo 23 de abril se realizó la 8ª edición de Expo Auto Argentino, la clásica muestra de vehículos nacionales que reúne a las distintas Marcas que han producido sus automóviles en el país.
La misma contó con más de 260 vehículos representativos del historial automotriz nacional, aportados por 25 clubes y un importante lote de expositores particulares.
En un destacado lugar, el Papamóvil Chevrolet se lucía como el vehículo insignia. La unidad, fabricada especialmente por SEVEL Argentina, fue utilizada en abril de 1987 para el traslado oficial de Juan Pablo II en su segunda visita a Argentina.
El Citroën Club Bs As representando a la Marca, exhibió una variedad de ejemplares producidos en el país durante los años 70: Ami 8 1972, 3cv 1971, 3cv Prestige, además de un IES América 1986. También mostró en forma exclusiva las herramientas y calibres originales, que utilizó Citroën Argentina durante las décadas de los años 60 y 70, para fabricar los vehículos nacionales.
